Trial class

Terms of a trial class

Short, plain and honest — what you are agreeing to when you ask for a trial class, and what we are promising in return.

In one line. A trial class is a free introductory session inside a programme that is still being developed. You owe us nothing, you can withdraw at any time, and a parent stays in charge throughout.
1

What a trial class is

A trial class is a single, free introductory session. It is part of a pilot programme that is still being developed and tested, so it is an invitation to try the thinking with us — not a finished product or a commercial course.

2

No obligation, no payment

Nothing is charged for a trial class and registering does not commit you to anything afterwards. Because no payment is taken, no refund can arise.

3

Registering is a request, not a booking

Sending the form tells us you are interested. Places are limited, so we will contact you by email to agree a date. Your place is confirmed only in that reply.

4

A parent or guardian registers

For any child under 18, a parent or guardian must register on their behalf and stay contactable during the session. Please tell us anything we should know to make the session work well for your child.

5

Age groups

Sessions are grouped by age because the activities differ. If a different group would suit your child better, we will say so and suggest the alternative rather than place them in a session that will not fit.

6

Online sessions and recording

If the session runs online, we will tell you beforehand whether it is recorded. Recordings are used only to improve facilitation and are never published or used for marketing. You may ask us not to record, and the class will still go ahead.

7

Child safety

Facilitators follow our child safety commitments. A parent or guardian is welcome to observe any session, online or in person, at any time and without asking in advance.

8

Your information

We use what you send us to arrange the class and to keep you informed about the programme. We do not sell it and we do not share it without your permission. You can ask us to remove your details at any time and we will do it.

9

Changes and cancellation

Either side may cancel or reschedule. We will give you as much notice as we can, and we ask the same in return so the place can go to another family.

10

Feedback

We may ask you and your child what worked and what did not. Answering is optional, and choosing not to answer changes nothing about your place in the programme.

11

Research status

Systems-8 is a proposed framework that has not yet been validated. We make no claim about measured learning gains. A trial class is part of how we build that evidence honestly, with families who know that is what they are joining.
